Lima's Top 10 Bites
Lima's Top 10 Bites
Come hungry — you’re about to taste Lima in 10 bites.
This walking food tour is a journey through the flavors that make the city one of the tastiest capitals in the world while you immerse in Lima’s bustling scenery. We skip the museums and go straight for the good stuff: chicharrón, ceviche, mochis, sui mai, and everything in between.
From a historic café where we try the iconic turrón de Doña Pepa, to an old-school tavern serving pan con lechón, we dive into Lima’s culinary soul with every step.
We visit a traditional cevichería for a fresh ocean-inspired tasting, then switch gears with crispy fried yucas and soft mochis in Japanese-Peruvian hotspots.
We’ll stroll through a bustling local market to try exotic fruits, chat with vendors, and see how Lima eats from the inside out. Then we’re off to Chinatown, where a hidden kitchen awaits with hand-folded sui mai (dumplings!) and bold Cantonese-Peruvian flavors.
The tour wraps up with something sweet and nostalgic — churros from a classic downtown spot that locals have loved for generations.
