BOHEMIA MEETS CULINARY

Barranco Vibes

Barranco isn’t just a neighborhood — it’s a vibe.

Once a seaside neighborhood for Lima’s upper class, today it’s the artistic, bohemian heart of the city. On this walking tour, we discover colorful murals, romantic alleys, and hidden gardens that make Barranco feel like its own little world.

We start with a specialty coffee at an iconic local café, gazin its beautiful lúcumo tree — Peru’s favorite exotic fruit. As we walk across the famous Puente de los Suspiros, down the Bajada Baños, we stop at Jade Rivera Art gallery, the artist that embellished barranco with its unique graffiti art.

Back at the main plaza, we cool off with a scoop of handmade exotic fruit ice cream, the kind that captures sunshine in every bite.

Getting hungry? Time for a pan con lechón, Lima’s go-to sandwich for weekend mornings or late-night cravings — crispy, juicy, and full of flavor.

And what better way to finish than in celebration mode? We head to a historic tavern known for serving one of the best pisco sours in the city — a family recipe with over 80 years of tradition.
